Joe Wysocki - Owner, Optiquatics
Some of the ideas behind the techniques used in Optiquatics workshops were started
about 15 years ago when Joe was the CIUPS (Channel Islands UPS) dive officer. During
that time, the goal was simply to keep the club dive trips full and not lose money.
Since those early days, Optiquatics has worked with individuals, dive instructors,
dive boats and dozens of dive shops to develop a successful underwater photography
program. The program comes in contact with over 300 divers per year during multi-day
shore or live-aboard u/w photo workshops that range from La Paz Mexico to Juneau,
Alaska. Some dive shops have returned for the same program for over 10 consecutive years.
